Our Story
A Place to Learn, Connect, and Grow
Welcome to Marin School of Massage and the Healing Arts!
We believe a massage school is more than a place to learn techniques. It is a place where friendships begin, confidence grows, and people come together to learn and support one another.
Our story began at Diamond Light School of Massage and the Healing Arts, where three students—Lowell, Binbin, and Lucy—found not only a passion for massage, but also friendship and a sense of belonging.
When Diamond Light closed, we shared a dream: to bring that same warmth, connection, and spirit of learning back to Marin. After more than two years of dedication and support from our community, MSMHA became a reality.
Everyone Is Welcome Here
Whether you’re exploring a new career, continuing your education, or simply curious about massage and the healing arts, there is a place for you here.
We offer small classes, hands-on learning, experienced instructors, and the flexibility to take individual classes or pursue a complete program.
We are BPPE-approved, and our 500-hour Professional Massage Therapist Program has received CAMTC provisional approval.
Come Be Part of Our Community
Our hope is to create more than a school—a welcoming place where people feel connected, encouraged, and inspired.
We would love to meet you, hear your story, and welcome you into our community.
