Our Massage Therapist Programs
Marin School of Massage and the Healing Arts offers a carefully selected range of bodywork classes, designed to provide students both with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become successful professionals and to introduce modalities and methods that students may feel drawn to and choose to specialize in. Our experienced teachers will invite you to discover and listen for the modality and methods of touch that are calling to be expressed through you. This approach creates an immersive and transforming learning experience.
Professional Massage Therapist Program
The Professional Massage Therapist Program prepares students for a career as a Massage Therapist and prepares graduates for private practice and employment in massage establishments, spas, chiropractic offices or other health care settings. Students will become proficient in a wide variety of bodywork and healing techniques in the massage therapy field. Graduates can apply for Certified Massage Therapist certification from CAMTC and, if they wish, sit for the MBLEx exam.

Advanced Massage Therapist Program
Students will become proficient in advanced deep and subtle massage, bodywork, and healing techniques, develop an understanding of anatomy and kinesiology (study of body movement) and increase their skills to an advanced level, learn ethics and business skills. Graduates will have acquired the skills necessary to begin a private massage practice in jurisdictions that do not require CAMTC Certification and will earn hours towards the 500 hours needed for CAMTC Certification.
250 hrs
Massage Therapist Program
Students will learn the theory and practice of therapeutic massage, will be qualified to give a complete therapeutic massage to friends and family and will have a basic understanding of anatomy. A few California jurisdictions allow professional practice of massage with 100 hours of training (go to the business office of the town or county where you wish to practice to find out).

Energetic Healing Program
Students will learn the theory and practice of a variety of subtle Energetic Healing techniques and learn to integrate them into a professional healing session. At the end of the course, students will be proficient in Reiki & Craniosacral Therapy protocols and have the ability to create subtle healing sessions from the tools gathered in this program.
