What are the admission requirements for your programs?
To apply for our massage therapy programs, you need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an application form, and attend an interview with our admissions team. No previous experience in massage therapy is required.
What is the class schedule like?
We hold classes on Saturdays starting at 10 AM and going until 6PM, 7PM or 8PM depending on class, including an hour lunch. Sunday starts at 1:30 PM and goes five to seven hours with a one hour lunch. We currently have classes Monday and Wednesday nights 6:30PM – 9:30PM, 6:30-10PM or 6:00-10 PM.
What kind of certification do your programs offer?
No school in California can certifiy a student but once approved by CAMTC, you can apply for certification with CAMTC as a Certified Massage Therapist once you have 500 hours of approved training. For those interested in multi-state opportunities, our massage therapy programs are designed to prepare students for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx), which is required for licensure in most states.
What kind of job opportunities are available for graduates?
Our graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge to pursue a variety of careers in the massage therapy field, including working in spas, wellness centers, hospitals, and private practices.
What kind of experience do your teachers have?
What kind of experience do our teachers NOT have would be a better question. Our teachers have learned, practiced and passed down modalities that go back generations, that transvers continents. Individually the average is decades of experience but collectively centuries of touching people and healing them.
